Hiro is a product designer who likes collecting cups.
Patty is an interior stylist who tends to leave things around. After years of arranging other people's homes just right, she still keeps losing her own keys.
Two people who look at objects every day, yet expect entirely different things from them.

The first things we designed began with these two habits.
A coaster held Hiro's cup. A tray held whatever Patty happened to set down.
“A tray is somewhere to leave things for a while. It doesn't have to be perfectly tidy, as long as you can find them later.”

Later, we realized these two little habits were really about the same thing.
Giving thought to a single cup is one way.
Setting things down without spending that thought on tidying is another.
Neither is wrong. In the same day, the difference is simply where we choose to put our attention.
Why We Started
Why we started FENZO HOME
As our experience grew, we began to wonder whether design could go beyond the tasks of our work: starting with our own observations, and continuing to explore and create furniture and objects rooted in everyday life.
That is how FENZO HOME began.
FENZO does not reject complexity. It leaves room for simplicity, too.
We want FENZO HOME to make room for both ways of living: a considered place for those who like things just so, and somewhere to leave things for those who take life as it comes.
